19 | Classmate Blog Critique

It has been a joy the entirety of this semester to watch everyone's own writing and design styles develop, as well as get an insight to the things each person is interested in and how they choose to present them.

Being given the choice on who to critique in this class, the decision was not easy as I have thoroughly enjoyed everyone's blogs and this blog itself will be nothing of a critique.

C. Thomas Bailey is a student here at Southern Arkansas University and is an integral part of our Mass Media class, bringing a refreshing view in each of his posts.

Thomas' presents us with a consistent writing and editing style in each blog post. He provides the perfect amount of interactivity in each statement and even signs off of each blog post with his name. This is such a small detail that makes it uniquely his own.

Style and aesthetic wise, the dark contrast from each other blog gives something different to the eye, something catching and engaging. His posts are the perfect length, with normally 2-3 photos used and the way he highlights each of his links in the same color each time is eye catching.

I particularly am fond of his "Listening Post" blog, where he states strongly at the beginning how uncommon listening posts are and shares his own experience working in a radio station.
Including his own experiences makes it personal which is easy to follow.

Overall, this semester has been nothing short of wonderful and seeing the world through my classmates eyes has been enlightening. I am excited to see where each of my fellow peers continues in life.
