Google News is useful because it pulls stories from tons of places, but it doesn’t always feel very personal. The app tries to guess what you want to read, but it often shows the same kinds of articles over and over, or pushes whatever is trending instead of what you actually care about. Sometimes it’s hard to find deeper, more detailed stories because the app puts quick updates and big headlines front and center.

Another problem is that not all articles open the same way. Some load right inside the app, while others suddenly switch to a website full of ads, which can be annoying and breaks the flow of reading. It would also help if Google News made it clearer which stories are opinions and which are actual news. Overall, it’s good for quick updates, but not great if you want a clean, reliable, and well-organized news experience.
